Due to federal guidelines, temporary SNAP increases from the public health emergency have ended and recipients will no longer receive additional benefits. Do not respond to calls or texts asking for your Lone Star Card number or PIN.
Summer P-EBT (June-August 2022) is a one-time benefit of $391 for each eligible child. For more information, including who is eligible, click HERE. It could take several weeks for your P-EBT card to arrive after claiming benefits.
Medicaid Members: Continuous Medicaid coverage has ended. To ensure coverage continues if you're eligible, respond to renewal notices on time and report changes (contact information, pregnancy, etc.) as soon as possible. Log into your account or call 2-1-1 and select Option 2.

Financial Assistance
Continuous Medicaid coverage ends on March 31, 2023. There are three things you need to do to ensure your coverage remains active.
Look for the notice saying “Action Required” in a yellow envelope from HHSC and respond quickly when you get it.
Update your information as soon as possible, especially if your contact information has changed. You can do this by logging into your account at YourTexasBenefits.com or through the Your Texas Benefits mobile app.
If you don’t have an account, you can create one on the website or mobile app. Or you can call 2-1-1 and choose option 2 to update your information.

JPS Health Network offers financial assistance with our JPS Connection Program. Uninsured patients that do not qualify for JPS Connection will get a self-pay discount of at least of 40% off the bill.
